Libero Andreotti between monumentality and domestic dimension. Documents from the artist’s archive. An exhibit of artworks drawings and unpublished documents curated by Elvira Altiero and Claudia Massi
For the first time this exhibit presents several of Libero Andreotti’s plasters left in storage at the Gipsoteca (plaster cast gallery) up to this day. On display there is also a selection of historical pictures, drawings, books and letters from the sculptor’s archive hosted inside this same building. Moreover, in view there are drawings from a private collection, with portraits of the artist’s wife and his family. The material shown reveals the art and life of Andreotti related to architecture: his monumental sculptures, home furniture, his own private dimension of living.
