Naked Dancer

This is the model of one of the art pieces realized during Andreotti’s last Parisian years, when the renewed reflections on Bourdelle turn into elegant and dense gestures, in familiar and usual attitudes, originated by the choreographic movements of the new Russian art of ballet performance, which was then being established in France. The figure stands on a circular-shaped cushion-like base ornated with leaves and fruits just like the one supporting the Woman with Cymbals.
