Funerary Monument to Dino Fantozzi

Commissioned by the Fantozzi family in memory of their son Dino, a man of letters and a poet from Pescia who died at 40 in 1928, the bronze is situated in the urban cemetery of Pescia. In a letter of May 25, 1929 to Aldo Carpi, Andreotti wrote: “I am making a small funerary monument for the cemetery of my hometown”. In his model the sculptor had also included two fluted vases at both sides of the monument.
