The pèach

This bas-relief is characterized by an intertwining of concave and convex lines, reminiscent of gothic art, which superimpose the subject (the woman in the foreground) over the object (leaves and fruits). Even in this case the features of the figure, typically Oriental, blend with the surrounding thick and welcoming nature. The version in golden stucco exhibited in 1921 in Milan has been lost.
