ARTWORK N° 12
Bather
The formal and superficial elaboration of this art piece traces back to that pictorialism of Neo-Impressionist influence that often seduces Andreotti during the last period of his Parisian stay and which constantly refers to the Venere Moderna/Modern Venus in the exaltation of the déco line. Here it is highlighted in the graphical elegances of the fan-shaped pubis and braided hair, that comes down as to underline the plastic model. There has been only one casting of this model, at full-length, but its location is unknown.
