Woman with a garland

This artwork is rich of realistic notes that still occupy the artist, outside and after the Parisian experience, in a renewed fervor of formal research. The garland-like base with floral motives which had characterized som of his French art pieces (Woman with cymbals, 1912, Modern Venus, 1913) seems to acquire new values from a re-reading of Florentine Renaissance bronzes (Donatello, Verrocchio).
