ARTWORK N° 22
Woman Undressing
The woman is undressing from a loose low-cut dress, partially coming down from her left shoulder and is about to get the dress from her hips in order to slip it off her head. Her legs are bent in a very natural and spontaneous attitude, so to ‘catch’ the movement of the action which presents a naturalness that goes back to the sculpture and pictorial fifteenth-century Florentine tradition, from Donatello to Piero del Pollaiolo.
